Baton Rouge, Lousiana is the capital city of the Pelican state. Baton Rouge is also the second largest city in Lousiana next to New Orleans. Settled next to the eastern bank of the great Mississippi river, Baton Rogue is filled with trade and creole traditions. The largest single employer in Baton Rouge is the state government, which recently consolidated all branches of state government downtown at the "Capitol Park" complex. Baton Rouge enjoys a strong economy that has helped the city be ranked as one of the "Top 10 Places for Young Adults" in 2010 by Portfolio Magazine and one of the top 20 cities in North America for economic strength by Brookings. In 2009, the city was ranked as the 9th best place in the country to start a new business by CNN. As well as being the state capital and parish seat, the city is the home of Louisiana State University. Baton Rouge boasts a wide and diverse populations of over 299,00 people having a mix of Cajun and Creole Catholics and Baptists of the Florida Parishes and South Mississippi. Baton Rouge is a college city with Baton Rouge Community College, Louisiana State University, Our Lady of the Lake College, and Southern University whose students make up some 20% of the city population. There is a sizable international population of about 11,300, the largest of which are people of Hispanic or Vietnamese descent. Due to this, Baton Rouge has come to have a unique culture as well as be a representation of many different heritages. Baton Rouge was selected in 2014 to host the Miss. USA pageant.
Baton Rouge is the first expansion city venture of the Dr. Clutter franchise (Dr. Clutter South) with Ryan Oakley and his brother in law, Matt Tamor at the helm. Both intimately familiar with Baton Rouge they are very excited to offer Baton Rouge a different solution to junk/debris removal and moving using the Dr. Clutter model which been so successful in Pennsylvania. Meet Ryan Oakley
Ryan is an experienced entrepreneur. Matt started Oakleys Grille located in Tampa, FL and fell in love with the small business outlet. Ryan attributes this love due to his ability to be creative and build on something he is passionate about. Ryan says it is great providing a service to a community and receiving a great sense of gratitude hearing the community appreciates your product. It's also rewarding to be involved in the community, Creating strong friendships and connection and giving back to the community which graciously supports you. Ryan is excited to bring the same dedication and commitment to greater Baton Rouge area with Dr. Clutter. He believes in delivering a great product to people who care at a fair price. The payback from the community is ten fold. Ryan will be teaming up with his brother in law Matt to expanding a great company to Louisana - a place they call home.
